Viennoiseries (French for 'Viennese specialties') are baked goods made in a manner similar to bread, but with ingredients (eggs, butter, milk, cream and sugar) giving them a denser, semi-sweet quality, closer to pastry. Viennoiseries are typically eaten at breakfast.
